Si je pouvais arrêter de cracher mes poumons, ça m'arrangerait

So, my week-end of doom. I've to do far too much things to do ;___;

- <strike>Watch Nuit et Brouillard </strike>--> DONE . And why do I always watch things like that when I'm hungry!!! It's disturbing enough like that (<strike>and don't ask why I decided to watch it... well... the teacher kinda asked us to and well</strike>)

- <strike>See for the gift exchange </strike>--> already done, I didn't even have to remember doing that!

-<strike> Copy the medievial class I missed </strike>--> If I have a boy, I'll call it Zwentigold (but FUCKING BURGUNDY, FUCKING RODOLPHE, and FUCKING BOSON). I have aleady forgotten everything. Medieval genealogy are the worst, they keep on marrying each other it hurts. Beside, I'm pretty sure you all ignored there were a kingdom of Burgundy. A duchy yeah, but also a kingdom....

- <strike>Go to the conference about the treaty of Versailles. </strike>---> I missed it ;_____;. I woke up, and went back to sleep, to wake up to late to go. According to Florie, it was great. One of the subject was about Clemenceau vs Wilson... that would have made me laugh. The others were about the content in itself and its impact on Germany.

- Finish the book about the Roman Empire.

- Tidy my room

- <strike>Clean the kitchen</strike>

- <strike>Buy food</strike> --> I HAZ COOKIES

- <strike>Buy paper</strike>. And find something French to send ---> (do you believe the only pretty things I've found are religious objects?).
Anyway, I've met a communist demonstration along the road, discover Emmanuel Moire is in town and that there will be dedicaces of artist having worked on WWI next week. This is relevant to my interest. And I bought a waffle :3
I also discovered nice citations of children... They are so cute!
"The difference between boys and girls, it's because boys have a willy and girls have plaits."
"There are no trees in the desert because nobody made water grow there"
"Secretaries are women who know secret about their boss, but can't say anything". It work better in French : secretary is "secrétaire", who can be understood has a mix of "secret" (secret) and "taire) (not to speak about something)

- <strike>Take care of my health care paper</strike>

- <strike>Take care of my CAPES paper </strike>--> I know what I have to send. Tomorrow : post and photocopy

- <strike>Write the essay about European borders</strike> --> Have the problematic and have the plan. But my brain is dead, so I'll check everything tomorrow. But the biggest is down!

- Begin the essay about Religion peace

- <strike>Blackmail Daddy to give me the Tudors. </strike>--> I told him. Now I hope he will do it.

-<strike> Look at the geography books.</strike> --> done

- Write for the Nano

- Shoot myself

I can do it. I can do it.
Otherwise, my cold is getting better, my class are still great (British history teacher *o*) And I'm going to Paris next wednesday (I'll probably do some homeworks there among with the writing!)

And I have currently a Matmatah addiction XD

<lj-embed id="49" />

I won't let you burry it, I won't let you smother it...

At the beginning, there were three towers, three buildings standing alone on the scene, which slowly, slowly lighted up, as if all the windows were shinning.
People of light were climbing imaginary stairs, probably going to wherever the top was.
Some of them were even falling, their body into the void like puppets with broken joints.
And in the background, an obsessive music making my heart beat faster and my voice scream louder.

Then it was dark.

And we got the uprising :3

I forgot how awesome they were. God 2 years and half I was waiting for them to come back, and now, my only wish is to see them again. They are wizards, music is their spell, and I was totally bewitched yesterday night.
You should have seen the crowd. Uprising, Hysteria, Time is running out, Knights of Cydonia... It was mad!
I don't regret at all this birthday present.

Except that...
The first part wasn't very great. I don't know if they had a problem with the sound but I didn't understand a world they were singing, except "collapsing". I didn't even catch their name (very intelligent to begin playing when the other one is chatting)
And the car park. One of the first entry on this blog was about the concert of Placebo, 3 years ago, and I was already complaining how bad the organisation was. Well, copy-paste the rant, nothing has changed at all!
And my throat was fucking hurtiiiiiiiiiiiing ;_______;

Now I shall write for the Nano. The first k was aweful, I wasn't in the mood, I didn't manage to catch the feelings of my main character and there's actually no fun in writing all alone (beside my cousins were at home, so I couldn't do it a lot). I still miss around 2k, but it shouldn't be a problem anymore.

It's a little early, but...

I'm sick.
Well just kinda sick - as always, nothing worse dying in my bed or even complaining about it. I have a cold since last week, and homeopathy is currently adding sore throat, canker sore, coldsore and... eczema in my ears D:. Should be better in a few days, but it's very irritating to feel ill during holidays.

In less than 1 hour, the Nano will begin - I'm not at the kick-off, I'm not on IRC, I'm not chatting with the Nanogang, and I haven't finished all the researches I wanted to hold ;____; I can't believe it's already November and everything is happening again. <strike>And I can't even kill Christmas Father this year bouhouhou</strike>

But at last, I spent the evening with Cuppy and got the ultimate excuse to avoid Halloween : we were in the theatre, watching Mic macs à Tire-Larigot, from Jean Pierre Jeunet. Weird as usual, we're talking about Jeunet after all, but I like his universe, a mix of a real and a fantasy Paris (Gare de l'Est *3*). Moreover is was funny. Not the love at first sight thing I had for Amélie Poulin but still a good movie.

Yesterday afternoon I drove my bros and my cousin to the Lorraine American cimetery. I discovered a few month ago the biggest American cimetery in Europe was an 1 hour away from home, in Saint Avold, so I couldn't resist the call of History and forced the boys to go with me. Not to pay taxes, I didn't take the highway, and we... nearly got lost. Just a little... just enough for the 'cambrousse lorraine' to strike back XD. Driving in the middle of the fields, not knowing if the next village will have road signs... the usual. It took longer but we manage to get to Saint Avold.

I've already visited the American cimetery in Colleville which is far more well known. I've always been intrigued by the organisation, the symbolic. I still don't know how I feel about it, I've mixed feelings, mixed impressions - the day I'll be able to put words on those, I'll let you know. But it's still funny to make the old joke ' we're technically in the USA!!! Wouhou!', cause the place was given to the US ^^

View on the cimetery first from the entrance, then from the panoramic backpoint.

The terrace... The first reaction to my bro and I : why an imperial eagle? Old habits die hard I suppose ^^

Inside the memorial. From the lest to the right : King David, Emperor Constantine, King Arthur and Georges Washington. The big man is the middle embodies freedom or justice (something like that, there were no further explanations :() And flags...

The European operations theatre and the Mosel/Rhine one. The first was also in Colleville. And for the second one, if you wanna play, find where I live. The place is on the map. Somewhere.

Gzzz. 1st of November. I won't write right now - instead I'm goind to bed, to be ready for Muse this night, with myrtilleuh and half of my family :3

Mélissa, non ne pleure pas!

To avoid future problems, I should get a tatoo with the number of kisses I'm expecting when I greet someone.
That would avoid a lot of miscommunication since I always forget there's only one in Belgium... and it's weird when I try to get the second one :(!!!

I went to Liège to animate a stand about ATLA during the Asianim convention. It was great! I met lots of funny people, I enjoyed myself and I laughed a lot. Except my legs and feet were hurting like hell ^^.

So during this week-end I:

- got my first chinese massage. I didn't find it very memorable. Maybe because it was the first time and I was all "But what is she doing... she's also touching here O__o !!?", or because I really needed to loosen up. If only I had remembered I don't stand my neck being touch...

- saw Les4 and Anya once again >w<. Les4 is awesome as always, but I'm a little worried about him - we fear he's just overworking himself. And Anya! God, she's also doing the Nano, meaning we met on the French forum without recognizing one another. If it's not an epicfail...

- hang around the funfair. I didn't go in any rides, but it was still funny to hear everyone scream, to eat churros and huge hamburgers.

- sang the Minikeums' songs. Blame the Coucoucircus stand (tant que j'y suis, quelqu'un peut-il me rappeler qui Diva parodiait? Je me souviens de tous les autres, mais elle, jamais moyen de me le rappeler!).
Because it's cult, I can't resist :
<lj-embed id="48" />

- tried the Dance Dance Revolution for the first time. Hahahaha, the DDR, our personnal ennemy !!! The first try was an epic failure, the second time was better since I knew how to get the rythm.

- lost myself (and Anya) into Liège, searching for a cash dispenser. The first one was out, we met far too much insurances but no banks and after around 1h30 of walk and nice monuments, we were so hungry we ate in a Quick. The second one didn't accept foreign cards and kept on vomiting mine. The third one... was the good one. Gzzzz. Since we couldn't eat good fries, we bought waffles while getting back to the hotel (but then we met Trimard who wanted to get money, so we went back to the cash machine ^^). And guess what I saw...

Haaa, nostalgia! Crossing old things like that (there also where a 50 and 200F bills in the shop, and other foreign money!)

- bought a badge "Murphy's law". Couldn't resist.

Now Daddy just saw the end of Apocalypse (haaaa the Free France/US drama *3*), and tonight we're watching the Empire Strikes Back!

Oh, Just for the crack, because it was actually faster to go to my parents' through this dear old Luxembourg than through France (Paris, Paris, Paris...)...

La France prend l'Eire et ça va faire Dublin

Dear buddies, I've got a question : for you, where are Europe's limits?
<strike>(because if you can give me some, I marry you right now)</strike>

So things which happened this week :

- As you can see, I changed my LJ layout and profile. I had had the urge since the beginning of the year, I only had the want to do it last week, so I did :3. And thank you for the link silverskies0117

- I've witnessed my first demonstration of<strike> farmers</strike> milk producer s last friday- they burned wood, threw straw everywhere and thousands of them paraded with their tractors. I was late that day so I couldn't go back home and take the camera :( and I only took pictures when I was back from class six hours later. The town was stinking all day long.

- I've fucked up my exam - subject : the impact of the French territory development. In fact we all did, so maybe it'll be ok considering the class level. But I'm not satisfied even if everybody is saying it was impossible to finish the paper in such a short time (2 hours for drawing a map and write the intro, conclusion and structure of our essay, das ist unmöglich!).

- I think I'm having a crush on my British history teacher. Not that he's beautiful or very exciting during class, he can be quite boring in fact, but I don't know, he has his charm. Or it's just the subject and then I'm doomed.

- The child is deaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
=(
=(
I was fearing less action in the Village français, I was totally wrong! OMFG, the last two episodes were trully epic.... The way discrimination against Jews was shown was very very very disturbing (because the subject is very very very disturbing after all), the little boy is dead and he was so cute, it's so unfair! And Lucienne ;____; My romantic side can only approve of the lovely German soldier, but we all know how it will end.

- Victouille went to the hospital for an eye chirurgy. Apparently it went very well - Mutti said he hurt far less than the last time, and that he was just bored. so big hugs to my dear little brother of love. I hope you'll be better when I'm home.

- For a project, I had to take photos of the cathedral, so here are some pictures of Amiens!

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Amiens (French: Cathédrale Notre-Dame d'Amiens), or simply Amiens Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral. The cathedral is the tallest complete cathedral in France, with the greatest interior volume (estimated at 200,000 m³). The vaults of the nave are 42.30 m high, the tallest nave vaults in any completed French cathedral, and surpassed only by the incomplete Beauvais Cathedral. Notre-Dame d'Amiens has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981.

Some pictures of the town, even if it doens't really show how red is (dead) the town

(Louis XIV is supposed to have lived a little time during the Fronde)

(the Palais de Justice - where Treiber is hiding XD)

(Somme canal - pretty nice place)

(the lock near my home)

- myrtilleuh ... He's so lucky it hurts >.< (no I don't wait for pictures, I totally don't)

To continue with the family stuff, my sister is now 11! Yes eleven! I was the same age, in the same class, in the same school when she was born! I remember I distributed candies to everyone in my class to celebrate the event! I feel so strange, even old in a way, because it's really a step. I'll be 22 next month, she's 11. Time flew so fast, I just would like her... to stay a child a little longer. I know it's impossible, only... I don't feel ready enough to see her become a young girl.

So random news:
- I have a kyst. But it didn't get infected so it may live my body without getting infected and without the need of meds! A great change considering the last ones...
- André Pierre Gignac... It's your fault if I start liking football! But I'm so happy they won youhou!
- I'm back watching Yann Barthes. I missed the Grand and the Petit Journal...Really I liked the parallel tonight: Gandrange = Sarkozy's Irak... I live near that factory. BUT PLEASE LEARN HOW TO PRONOUNCE METZ CORRECTLY èé (my ears are bleeding, is it so difficult?)
- I shouldn't have opened the TV program. Now I'm aware Un village français and Nicolas le Floch are back on TV.
Un village français was quite good. Realisation could have been more... lively (but considering the usual level, I won't complain) and I fear some clichés are happening, but it pleased me. Still ambiguous, still moraly weird (the teaser sentence "he couldn't prevent himself, he didn't resist" still makes me shiver) and still so romantic... I can't wait for next week!
Nicolas Le Floch... I fear I won't be at home to watch the show ;__;. No Sartine and his wigs for me, it's a shame
- I like my thursday class - because we learn people can lie. I just think the teacher forgets to include himself but it's damn hard to counter his arguments.
- I'm a mod at hetalia_fr :3
- I have the family camera. Wait for some pictures.
- JeanSarkozyPartout is the future, don't resist! Without entering the debate, I think that his credit is totally destroyed for the major part of the population. Good or bad thing, I guess you can tell my opinion about it. And he so looks like the Prince Charming in Shrek XD (with his royal father, the nickname totally fits!!!!)
- I wanna change my LJ layout, but I don't know exactly what I want...

A chacun de nos souffles, au moindre murmure des bas fonds...

It has been raining non stop since last Monday ;___;
I usually love rain, but in Picardy, it makes me depressive. When it rains, it's cold - you spend your morning trying to heat up, to no avail. When the rain stops for a little while, the air becomes hot and humid, so you're sticky with sweat (because of the warm jacket of yours). But the sky remains grey, and as we usually say "ça donne le cafard".
But we do need water. It's for a good cause.

So yeah... Last week, I should have gone to Paris.
Manu wanted to go out all night long for the Nuit Blanche with his fellow warriors before going back to London, but thanks to our wonderful lack of organisation, we didn't do anything. It's a good thing, because he chose the wrong day anyway (the Nuit Blanche wasn't on friday, how farmers we are >.<). So the party is tomorrow night!
And saturday night I had a nice evening chat with the Avatar team. Our project of convention in Belgium runs well, and I'll probably go the last week-end of October to help liven up. If Murphy (kss kss) decides to let me alone.

School is doing well.
I got my M1, and for now, my fight against the administration is doing well. Tomorrow, I have to pay the school fees, and everything would be done.
The CAPES class are great! But we are all under the impression the questions of this year are tricky little bitches made to bash the current world and government policies. In ancienne and contemporaine, what we all talk about is imperialism and you can be sure at last once in the hour, we get an allusion or a comparison to the US behaviour. And in the Food class it's all about the epic!fail of the ultra-liberal theories and praising the role of State. And this morning we got some nice ecologist bashing -.-'
It's really the "Our government is fucked up, let's get you some nice Republican values - you know you want a Revolution, you know it!" spirit.
Oh, and Florie is trying to seduce me with German class - I see if I can go. I already have English class (with the teacher who makes all the boys drool XD) but it would be very nice to hear some German once again.

Except that...
Galli ruined all my attempt to rise my current musical level. Galli, my alligator, I love you ~3~
I listenened to the new Emilie Simon's album, Dreamland, and even if it's nice, I still don't know if her new musical world, very much alike to Kate Bush's, is better than her former one. She lost something in the process but I still can't measure the gains.
The new Eiffel is wonderful! And yes, I was right, Bertrand Cantat appears as a guest-star - I'm not here to judge if it's a good thing or not, considering what happened. I'd just say the song is lively, somehow engaged and rocky so I like it.
Oh! And I'm rediscovering Tryo. I've never been an hardcore fan of them, even if they did good songs; only this album... I'm liking it more and more. To the point I cry each time I listen to this song :
<lj-embed id="47" />
*Une larme à Paris, une rose pour Pinochet, le temps n'a pas enfui le palais d'Allende... criiiies*

And to finish the music part, classical concert on the 22nd.

I'm going back to Lorraine on saturday morning. I'll be deaaaad gzz. But I can't wait for seeing my family again. And my kiens d'amûûûûûûr.
And my cousin - I've heard she went to the hospital after getting very sick... (40°C of fever! D=). Her bro didn't tell me anything bad about her yesterday, so I'm sure she's fine by now ^^
Since I'm talking about health.. I have the nasty feeling my annual kyst will say 'hello' to me this month - yeaaaah it's back. At the same spot as last time, in the middle of my back, could have been worse *shudders at some memories*.
Oh mon Dieu, mais ils mangent Jésus!

I'm feeling all strange.

Mutti just told me one of the boy who used to hang around near our house (nothing bad, they usually spent their time sitting and talking) was killed last week. According to Mutti he was a normal teen, polite and all. He got into a fight with one of his friend - that friend got home to take a knive, and when he returned, he stabbed it directly into the poor boy's heart.

The worst part of all is that I know who's the murderer. He used to be a friend of Ben, my brother, 10 years ago. I still remember the time we alerted all the street because we thought Ben was lost - in fact he and this friend had just gone to buy candies at the other side of the village.... Daddy called him 'le roquet'... If we had known he could bite...

And my grandfather is ill. He got something while he was in Tunisia. So far meds didn't help at all. Since he has lots of health problem, I'm worried - but Mutti didn't seem too bad, so it can't be so dangerous... Still...

On a brighter note, I've seen François Hollande yesterday to gave him my paper - I'll present it next tuesday.
IUFM is ok, and this year program is very cool. Even if it will be hard, at last it will be interesting! If you wanna know what I'll be studying this year, follow the cut

- Rome and the occidental provinces (-197/+212)
Just having Rome made me happy. Because Rome is far better than Greece (I've nothing against Greec History but after 3 years of eating Sparta at last once a year, I did an overdose. And 6 years of Latin powns 1 year of former Greec). I've no real knowledge about the Imperial provinces, but it doesn't matter. Studying Gaul and the Celts are enough to make me happy. Besides, I have to read Cicero and Tacite - the Latin fangirl in me is soooo squeeing XD

- Power, Church and Society in the Kingdom of France, Burgondy and Germany (888 - beginning of 1100)
I don't know if it's the Limousin accent, but the teacher looked totally drunk this morning.
The subject summarizes very well my love/hate relationship with Middle Age. Some parts are made of win - Cluny, ecclesiastic reforms, or the beginning of the HRE for example. BUT there is feodality. Why? Why? Why? Why focusing on the worst period, when the King of France has no power at all and is a mere joke? Why don't they give us Philippe Auguste and his awesomeness? (no really, annexing Normandy only because the King of England didn't ask permission for stealing a wife, this is epic!win). So not my favourite part of the studies.

- Religious conflit in Europe (XV - middle of the XVIe century)
SAINT BARTHELEMY. HENRI IV. FUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
I had to eat a wonderful class about theology this afternoon, but never mind - the teacher actually made it fun... no really, her presentation of eucharisty was pretty hilarious. Ohh catholic dogma, you'll never cease to amaze me. Reformists and all are maybe more logical, but they are no fun.
As you can guess it will be my favourite. Blood, slaughter, epic!fail leaders and stupid religionous guyz, that's what I like :3

- Britannic world (1815-1914)
I've already had a class about politic in the UK from Victoria to today, and it was very interesting. Because even if England is geographically our neighbour, we know nothing about their politic, which is, in fact, totally different from ours. So I approove.
But I still prefer the XIXe century in France : UK has too much flegm and prefers tea to Revolution - it's boring. And Clémenceau > Disraeli+Gladstone.

- Feeding the world
Very very fascinating question, in phase with actuality, with so many side to study this question, me like.

- French territory development
I guess I should like this question but I totally fear the attack of French administration, with their love of stupid acronyms and useless laws. And worst, I fear the attack of EU administration with their love of stupid acronyms and useless laws. Help.

- Europe
Didn't have the class yet - but Europe is crazy, so it should be ok.

- ESD
I love it! The subject this week was : Should the Historian pay attention to heroes? The answer was yes of course, because a hero embodies the values of the society he is coming from, and we had a nice reflection about the memorial construction of heroes, of the reason why they are chosen to be adored as heroes and so on.
For this reason it made me think of Hetalia, because in a way, Hetalia is also the point of view of the world about our national heroes, or supposed national heroes. Unfortunately for France, world is 50 years late: we got Napoleon and Jeanne d'Arc XD (embarrassing no?)

Don't squeeze me until I'm yours

I'm back from London!

The last time I've been to England, it was in 2002, with my English class - we were pretty lucky to go, because with our über paranoid teacher, everything was possible. I have very good memories of this trip : for us everything was more or less "weird" and "funny" when it wasn't the same as in France. And there was a huge advertisement with Ewan McGregor on it, so sure I appreciated the journey :3

Here is the summary of the week-end. Tomorrow, if I'm brave, I'll tell you about the epic fail of the IUFM (if you fear French administration, know that the IUFM's is as bad)

I went to Gare de l'Est to wait for Mutti's train yesterday morning. When she arrived, we walked to Gare du Nord to eat some cookies and to take our train. I've never realized the border police name was "PAF" (police aux frontières) ^^. I was very excited, not only because of the journey, but also because of the Channel tunnel! I've alwayswanted to know what it feels like, if it was special and everything - I can be a real valley girl when I want XD. In fact it's a normal tunnel. It's not announced when you enter it, and even Mutti, who was scared to death at the tought of it, was very relaxed. We even ate free food - business class is great. But I still went *under the sea, under the sea*

Lilibel was waiting for us at King's Cross Saint Pancras (if you don't look at it, it really looks like Saint Pancreas >>) and guided us through the metro and to her home sweet home. Her place is nice, calm, not far away from her university and from the Arsenal stadium. There was a match yesterday night, so we saw lots of supporters into the streets - I can't even tell you who won ^^. We also met Lili's friend, Clélie, who's a total sweetheart.

We moved at 3:30 pm to Wembley.
And whooo, that's a stadium; it's an impressive view when you quit the subway station. I've already been to the Parc des Princes, but this one is more modern in everyway, and bigger I guess (but they are all so big ><). Still both are impressive. At first we were supposed to stand all night long, so we got near the scene, to have a good view. But the first row of benchs was free for the fans in the pitch, so in the end, we all got a sitting place ^^.

The show :
- It began with White Lies. I've never heard about them, but I got hooked with the first song "Farewell to the Fairground". They're really good - it's the kind of rock I like. They didn't come for nothing, because they have now 4 new fangirls XD
- In fact, I knew about Girls Aloud. One of their song was aired on the radio a few years ago (Sound of the Underground), but as always, I don't remember the band names. It was nice, some funny pop songs, pink everywhere, even for the boys, and 60's clothes... Just... it's not the kind of things I listen to everyday.
- Then you got Jay-Z. It wasn't that bad. I'm not fond of rap; the only ones I tolerate are bands like IAM, because they have lyrics which means something, and which aren't only about smacking the bitch up. After all every one here dances the MIA, likes "l'empire du côté obscur" or admires the "bad boys de Marseille" ^^. Only... I don't understand his fans! What's the meaning of the "I'm cutting wood with my hand" movement? The bass was so loud I thought my hear would stop, sometimes I didn't even recognize the melody, and I didn't understand what he was saying. But some song were good (Numb remix ><), he has a good feeling with the public, and he had a nice shirt.
And... why did he wear those sunglasses? It was night...

Then it began raining.
And We listened to The Blue Danube under the rain. Pretty magical, since every one in the stadium stood up
And Violet Hill was here *3*

The concert was awesome. Really. Awesome.
Wonderful.
They let us sing, they went into the crowd, they made us scream and they played like gods.
Chris Martin is totally crazy, but in the good way. The one who wakes you want to join him in his crazyness.
We made a mobile phone wave. We also got balloons - a good concert must have balloons. And lots and lots and lots of butterfly! It was literraly raining paper butterflies yesterday night on Wembley. There even were fireworks!
<lj-embed id="46" />

Mutti bought me a poster, and a badge :3. And while we were leaving Wembley, some agent were giving a CD live. For free. Didn't cost us a pence.

It was Hell to go back home, even if we were all singing the "OOOhoooohOOOhhooooh" from Viva la Vida in the crowd, which cheared us up. But everyone had to converge towards a unique road to reach the subway, so we got a traffic jam. We were at the beginning so it didn't matter, but for the one on the end of the queue...
And then the metro totally failed us - Murphy was in the air maybe? We were zombified, and we had to move to another line without any explanations, and once we were at Saint Pancras, our metro had a door problem - it didn't want to close. God.

We managed to get back to Lili's place and get a very good night of sleep.

Mutti and I left in the early afternoon, as if everything had been only a mere dream. I didn't really want to get back, even after getting a Union Jack magnet but... well, dear Lili and Clélie, thank you for everything.

This week-end was marvellous. I don't have any other words to describe it.

I guess the conclusion is for Mutti : Why doesn't the UK have euros???? (Mutti got mad with her pounds and pences - I had to translate and explain everything for her XD).

Buzz a eu trois ans hier, mon kien d'amûr

Yesterday was a nice day.
If you except the aftermath of my two vaccines - tetanos and uterus cancer : I was cold all day long... Well I don't have a prostate, let's be positive...

It began with a documentary about the US Civil war. I had it since...february or something but I didn't have the access code to watch it - f*cking parental control on the recorder.
It was about the beginning of the war, the rise of tensions between the North and the South, the problem of slavery, and the important men of the period so it was pretty interesting ^^.

Then the Resistance has arrived. *3*
Oh god, Muse...

The album is definitely a Muse album - sometimes it reminds me a little of Showbiz or Absolution, but the first time I've listened to it, I thought they have mixed all their usual stuff and put it in a wrong order. Not a bad one, of course not, but not the one we're used to - as if they were playing with the ones listening to them.
Just... WTF Matt... Were you drunk when you spoke French? O_o... *my eaaaaaaarss*

And the night, I watched Apocalypse
It's very very great, I can't wait for the last 2 episode next week. This week, it was about 1941 and 1942 : Barbarossa, Pearl Harbor, the Shoah, some epic fail of Staline or Mussolini and even some introduction to the Free France drama :D (I hope we'll get some Giraud/De Gaulle loving next time *ironyyyy*) - and my god, I'm falling in love with Matthieu Kassovitz once again... His voice ~~

This morning, my mom saw me playing the FSM game - she found it hilarious
Tomorrow, I'm back to school. As always my motivation is running faaaar away from me. But I read something about concerts in the cathedral, so I'll try to move my ass to see what the event is.
The same day, my grand-parents are going to Tunisia D: - I'm jealous

And this week-end, I'm going under the sea, under the sea. Aka I'm going to see Coldplay with lilibel , at Wembley Stadium, London.

D'habitude, il tue les mouettes au dessus du but adverse

Oh, I should never have introduced my bro and parents to Helmut Fritz :(
Because now, ça m'énerve.

September has really come. It's more rainy and windy. The sun is still here, but it's not the same as before. I went out with the dogz of love, two days ago, under the rain, I've missed doing this kind of thing. I can't wait for autumn!

Yesterday I went to Amiens. To bring some of my belongings there before the year starts.
It was nice to get back to my house and to see Fleur again. Some changes had been made - I've a new fridge, new plants, the TV has a real place in the living-room and I can fangirl on my ducky of love once again :3. It is better than ever. Oh, and I have a new coloc, but she wasn't there so I'll meet her in two weeks!
Then Ben got his piano and we went eating into a restaurant with food from Savoie. Yeaaaah, raclette, tartiflette, croziflette and maroilles in the same place, in the middle of Picardie XD.

When returning home, the boys asked for listening to the football match on radio. France-Romania. Usuallly, I would say football is totally boring but... the commentator was made of win. His voice, my god! He's speaking with his nose, he pronunced the l very strangely (he rolls them) and sometimes has the very girly voice. of a fangirl I've checked, he's from Marseille - only it's totally not the accent of the south. But damn, we kept on laughing all the journey long *3*
<lj-embed id="45" />
If it wasn't for Pierre-André Gignac, I would totally quit TV for radio. I'll see on wednesday!

Except that...
I went to watch Inglorious Basterds once again. I was supposed to go on a local cinema which had the original version, but I ended with the French one. Dommage, but anyway, it was even better the second time. Oh Landa. You and your Bingo
And I began to take care of administrativ papers. Aka the war against university will soon open once again *my gun is ready and my will is made of iron. I can do it*
I got my shoot of Doctor Who - long life to France 4.

Now Ben has a piano. Never touched one before and he's already playing the Imperial march, from Star Wars. Or some music from the Lord of the Ring. Nice bro.

Vacances en Alsace : si vous aimez l'histoire, la jolie nature et les belles maisons...

All the pictures are uploaded.

And have a legend.
I thought I was going crazy with Schirmeck (nooo seeing photo of your nazified town isn't a good idea when you're tired) -
Anyway : picasaweb.google.com/maikie33

A little preview :

(The Haut Koenigsbourg)

(Lion of Belfort, by Bartholdi.
Ils étaient vingt et trois quand les fusils fleurirent...

I got pretty scared tonight, because Gizmo started whining and squirming without any reason.
We first thought it was nothing but since he carried on, we checked on him, feared he was bitten by a nasty ant - or that he ate something he shoudn't have - and that he was ill and in pain.
Camiche also began to cry, so I had to confort the dog and my dear sister. But I admit I was not well - I love my dogs so much I don't want to think about their death. Gizmo got me pretty worried.
Finally, either he had a little stomach ache (he eats everything he finds), either he was missing Daddy or Mutti.

Anyway, now I'm fine again, fine enough to bash about IE. So everything's ok.

Except that, I'm on a historical mode, and I've noticed to historical tendancies :
- for strange reason, France 2 had a Henri IV vibe. Maybe because it was Saint Barthelemy two days ago (the Neighbourg wasn't there so no threat to get a knife into my belly XD) - but I miss the documentary about him D: Well, there's still the show tonight, but it's a France 2 production, so I have good reasons to be afraid (boring and... boring)
- seems we'll get some WWII in september. For the 70 years? Emission with new pictures and all + a film about Manouchian group. I was pretty surprised when I read the article about the movie and the interview of the director. He was saying nobody knew about them anymore - sure I can't tell you he details of their actions, but the 'Affiche rouge' is pretty well known. And now I'm reading the poem Aragon dedicated to them, it rings a bell - I don't remember when I studied it, but I did (maybe also when I visited the Mont Valérien... )

Speaking of WWII....
Christopher Waltz, marry me :D
Thanks to you and Tarantino, I'll never see a glass of milk the same way.
Even if the French version of the movie... is the dumbest version ever. The absolute proof French have a damn problem with English - they didn't translate the German part, they let the English part in the first scene, because you need it to understand something, so why did they translat the rest of the English part?
BINGO!

... And Shossana's dress is wonderful, I want the same.

Et Lili, j'ai bien reçu ton livre. Merciiiiii.

Are you an oldest, youngest, middle, or only child? How do you think it has influenced your personality?

View 535 Answers

I'm the oldest of four children (and 2 dogs)
Well, sure it influenced me. Taking care of my brothers gave me enough experience to have a child now without any problem. Except it disgusted me from having one.

No, really, when my parents work, I'm like... their mum. I feed them, make their bed, care of their wounds (Victouille had bitten Ben two days ago, it was totally hilarious), negociate to take them to the theatre and scream at them...
I'm stricter than my mother but cooler than my dad in fact (just yesterday we had a fight - dad's definition of 'mess' isn't mine)

And yes, I'm fucking tired of this.

But tonight, the Neighbour is coming at home :3

Jambon beurre ou jambon beurre? Beurre jambon

I've never realized my family was so much crazy.
Well, my aunts are, but they are awesome so I don't mind at all. Just... if only it was only like that - I know the illogic mind of my grandfather is so illogic I can't prevent myself from laughing (oh god the Ricard thing) but the day he'll have to pay for all the alcohol he's drinking... well, I don't want to think about it. And I don't want to know how he'll feel when he learns one of his niece has tried to commit suicide two days ago.
So I'll just go with my cousin and bro get a kebab and watch GI Joe tomorrow- it'll be stupid enough (and I wanna see bad boys playing with the tram :3)

So it was my Mutti's birthday party yesterday/ Because she's 50 and she's wonderfuuuuuuuuul.
Just for her, I got all girly (make up +skirt+ cleavage of doom and OMG do I consider myself pretty? When was the last time it happened? A ducky of love must have surely died) and I even bought some new clothes. Yes, I did some shopping!
I kinda forced my bro to give me money to buy her present because I don't wanna be the only one as always who make an effort, and I bough her 2 lovely nighties (she exchanged the sexy one today, nobody can't say I didn't try --").
The other gift were : money for trraveling, flowers and... the hugest flower balloon of DOOOOOOM - it's soo huge, and it fits barely into a car *3*

We threw the party in the town where the family take its music class, and it was great. Family reunion are always great, I can see my awesome aunts and uncles, and my more awesome cousins. The lunch began at 12, and ended at 19. I was at the same table as my cousin Caro, a doctor in the European parliament (la classe ;)), and Mutti's boss. We discussed about school, old memories, langages and how university can't be marvellous without its anarchic system (administration must diiiiiiiiiie) and became a little crazy, but you can't be crazy when you're with Caro. Or Mutti's boss.
Valangoustine felt in love with Fabi (she obviously had a crush at least), it was cuuute.
I've seen old photos of Daddy, and it's strange how my bro looks like him (I don't for obvious reasons ^^), and of Mutti- she was so pretty #3

I got hugs, love and good dessert, life is good.
And I still don't like clowns.

Other good news :
- I DON'T NEED GLASSES! FUCK YEAH! Mutti was bothering me with my eyesight, and in the end, I still don't need glasses. Maybe in the few years, because my left eyes is slowly tiring. Anyway, I'll still write so tiny you can't read it in peace for the rest of my life now.
- I HAVE THE CRAZIES BAG EVER. Dada Flo and Tine, I love you! I just needed one.

And for the Nanout >> I admit I'm quite late. And that my plot is total crack ><
But I haz dead people.

Et soudain surgit face au vent... le vrai héros de tous les temps!

Hej hej, I'm back from my two weeks holidays in Alsace!

I'll post all the pictures I took (I got quite... generous about it) later - I'm currently uploading the ones of the Konzentrationslager Natzweiler Struthof, so as you can imagine, it's not funny at all to make the legends. I currently feel like a voyeur explaining how to inflict pain to people.

To make it short, I visited :
- Konzentrationslager Natzweiler Struthof : Nazism seems all the more inuntellegible now. Really. I didn't understand before the visit, I still don't after.
- EUROPAPARK. Spent the day wet. Did rollercoaster. Was wet all the day. Wanted to kill obnoxious Turkish teens. Got wet everywhere ^^. The park is as awesome as ever - I got a mini Ducky of LOVE. Did I say I got wet?
- Chocolate museum : nice story of chocolate. Would have been better if the price were less high. And if I ate more chocolate.
- Automobile Museum : I wasn't really into it at the beggining, but it ended up with so much fun. A 2CV always manage to warm my heart. As a R16 full of vignette, and unexpected Vaillante and flashy cars worth 12 millions one.
- Haut Koenigsbouuuuurg. So full of the Kaiser's dedicaces it hurts XD. I didn't remember the castle was so beautiful, so romantic, so secret, so... pink. And WTF the Grauly? Did they really import the magical creature of Metz inside the castle just to point that Germany owned both Alsace and Moselle? Damn, that period is just pure crack XD.
- Strasbourg! So pretty! Spend the day with kerydwenn , we talked a lot, same with walking, visited the town with a tourist tran, bought a goban... I didn't remember a lot of the town except the astronomical clock of the cathedral and wonderful chocolate crêpe - now my head is full of the whole cathedral, of the houses, of the Vauban fortifications, of späetzle,
- ACROBRANCHE! Not really a visit. But I got hematoms so big I still have them. Made me look as a beaten woman - sport and me ha la la.
- Riquewihr : a typical alsacian village. All nice but too commercial for me - I hate when you feel you have to buy something. Fortunately there was a museum. About torture - and Nazi occupation (you don't change a winning team >>. But I didn't know anything when I got there, I swear!)
- Moselle source and Col du Drumont : I drank my river water, and it wasn't even polluted - miracle!! And I walked. Was sometimes hard but I didn't get any asthma. The landscape was great, and our guide, Serge had a wonderful alsacian accent ^^
- Belfort : saw the lion, the Vauban fortifications (Oh dear Vauban, now I worship you and your awesomeness), museum about war (1870-1871 and Denfert Rochereau, 1914-1918 and so many German helmets, and 1939-1945). No many pictures cause no baterry on the camera
- Hohlandbourg castle. Had to walk. Nothing much to see, except the view on Alsace.
- Game Museum. OMG so fun!
- Schirmeck, memorial about Alsace-Moselle. I learned nothing really new, but it was very interesting to have the province point of view - after all, nobody never asked Alsace and Moselle wich side they wanted to join, and if they only agreed to join a side when it was the time of being annexed to France and Germany XD. But it increased my need of knowing more about the place I'm coming from - I only know the French side, the one which considered it as a traumatism, but... what about the German one? About my own family? I discovered I had a Malgré Nous in the family only after his death - I don't wanna let my grandparents disappear without knowing more about them. This memories are fading, and as wonderful it is Germany and France were able to overcome their hate and distrust, I think we still have to remember the darkest time to plainly enjoy the current peace (or just to understand why we have two more days off, better social protection and German named dessert ;))

So lots of History - I'm happy :3
All with flammmekueche, spätzle, bretzel, myrtille pie, pinot noir and riesling and a pink bedroom!

But the things which were really made of win were:
- LE POT DE NUTELLA DE 5KGGGGGGGGG
- BOB MORANE BACK ON TV. YOUHHHHHHHHHHHOU, I feel 10 years younger now ^^
<lj-embed id="42" />

Before going to bed Happy Birthday to my grandparents - 77 years old this year and still as wonderful as when I was a child.

Il faudrait que les médecins partent en vacances pour qu'il n'y ait aucun malade...

I'm feeling...resless - something is wrong.
The peace treaty with Nancy II was too easy - no fight, no haughty comments, only the impression I totally annoyed them, but that's the normal face in the administration.
Anyway, I don't like the 'Mme' on my licence (bachelor degree) certificate, it makes me want to burn them all (I'm noooot a madame, I'm a mademoiselle! *whines whines*)

I went to Nancy this afternoon - wasn't planned at all, the idea just poped up in my mind yesterday night: go and search my diploma before my former university closes (if it closes this year). So I went.
I didn't want to stay long - I just took a quick hommage to this dear old Stan, was happy to know the place will be more awesome the next time I'll come since renovations are on work... then I had to go shopping and take a look at the FNAC. Hesitated at first, but I don't regret. I found some clothes, an other Nicolas le Floch's book and I met Françoué.

It was nice to have some news from him, even if the discussion quickly ended up with the new Harry Potter, that we both saw yesterday night (I went with Mutti and Daddy).
It's the same with every HP : I can't prevent myself from hoping, and each time, I'm disappointed. I won't lie, some points are great, like the graphics - numerous times I would have liked to pause the film and take pictures, because I found the game with colors, positions of actor, the atmosphere incredibely stylish. Some litle moments are priceless, the RAB thing is well introduced, Drago is pretty good, and Alan Rickman is perfect as always. As much as I've no feeling whatsoever about Snape in the books, in the movies Alan Rickman makes me adore him.
But I won't lie either when I consider the film totally misses the point : what is focused about isn't what made fall in love again with the HP books. Not enough Voldy, no teacher Dumbledore who takes time to pass everything to Harry, the Half Blood Prince not really mentioned... Just love, love and love. De la guimauve et c'est beurk. The only love story I liked was the one of Remus, because it's only 3 lines - I totally don't care about the others. And when I went out after the projection, I was sad the movie focused about this point when the others should have been more developped - HP isn't for screaming fangirl dammit, more bloooooood pleaseeeee!

Otherwise...
I was in Paris last saturday, to bring my sister back from her colony. I first tried to convince Mutti to go to the Japanese restaurant I once went with the Nanogang, but she refused. So we wandered around the Gare de l'Est and finally ate... in a Japanese restaurant. It wasn't as good as the other, but it was ok considering the ones I'm used to - and Mutti discovered she likes yakitori so it's the most important >w<
Since my sister's train was late (oh oh what a surprise), we had enough time to pay a quick visit to something... None of us was interested in going to Montmartre, even if it was close, so I proposed the Père Lachaise I hadn't still seen. Mutti was ok, so we took a look at the cimetery.
It was great... but not how I imagined it :). I don't know... I've always thought an artist grave is the image of his genious, but in fact, most of them were quite common. We could have passed Proust without knowing he was burried there if we didn't have the map. Apollinaire was hidden, Delacroix was simple... Only Molière and LaFontaine had a real hommage, and Gericault - it's the one I've seen, there are a lot of more so I can't say.
I was musing about this fact when I met Thiers, and WTF the temple! I didn't connect immediately Thiers was the one who ordered to annihilate the Commune and that all ended in the Père Lachaise - it must have a link :3 *end of the historical rant*

Oh an my sis lost her camera Gare de l'Est - she cried a lot in the train ;(

Last sunday I was in Malbrouck - still with Mutti, cause the monsters didn't want to cultivate their brains -to visit the exposition about Napoleon. Malbrouck has great exposition, and it wasn't an exception. We felt in love with some of the piece, like clocks ~~ the bluuuue, it's wonderful. And now I've seen his famous hat :3
And the funky fact : Napoleon only learned English when we was in exile, and he had a smaller handwritting than me.
It was strange to see him from a more positiv point of view - I don't really like the man or the fighter he was, but it's true he did important things for the administrativ structures, for the art, for education. And even if the military power depended a lot on France demography (aka France could afford to lost lots of men, the other countries not as much)... well, he was a damn strategist. *real end of the historical rant*

Monday night, my cousins went to visit. We planned to go to the nearby hill to see 4 or 5 fireworks at the same time for National Day, but it was raining :(. Anyway, we had a fun time, I laughed at lot. Remi has now a moustache and a... a... a goatee, my eyes are still burning. It's... it's... I'm not used to have him so 'manly' XD. But he promised to lend me some books, so I won't say anything. Caro had good results at her 'épreves anticipées du bac L'(I give up translating French official nomination) , I'm happy for her.

Euh... ate at grandparent's yesterday noon. Grandma is awesome as always.

And today Mutti and I got our tickets to go to London in september.
We hesitated between plane and train. I was for the train (I wanna go under the sea, under the sea ^^), but Mutti is a little claustrophobic and prefered the plane solution. In the end, I won! Price difference and time travel wasn't so big - but, as I explained to her, plane is cheaper and faster in itself, but not the car to go to the airport- and we should go to Franckfort airport! Here, we have only 2 trains, and we arrive in the middle of London. And I totally don't see myself in an English airport trying to find the bus which will bring us to London with an overexcited Mutti who doesn't speak a word in English - I will lost her (or kill her, depends of the mood D=)

Aaaaaand...
I'm going in Alsace next Saturday.
On programm (for now): Haut Koenigsbourg, Colmar, Strasbourg, Mulhouse, Europapark, family visit (we've been told they have a very pronounced accent and we're already forbidden to laugh >>). And of course, the Natzweiler Struthoff (I'll try to beg to go to Schirmeck too...)

A little Calo, since Daddy will get the tickets tomorrow :
<lj-embed id="41" />

Encore un même ^^

Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your blog or journal.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus the endless cycle of the meme goes on and on and on and on...

alwaysparis gave me these questions...

1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
In New Zealand... It's far away from the rest of the world, it seems calm, it's beautiful... They speak English, so I could improve :)

2. Do you have any pets? If not, did you have any as a child?
I have far too much pets. I've got two wonderful dogs : Buzz an ignorant and lazy boy who would prefer dying than showing his affection towads me; and Gizmo a cute mousketeer which is always making pranks. I have five guinea pigs : Choupette, Canelle and Selenia for the girls, Caramel and Paprika for the boys. I have two birds... technically they are my bro's but who care? They are called Luke and Leïa. Dad also had too much fishes... too much. And does my three monsters of bro and sis count?

3. If you could only re-read one book, which would it be?
I hesitate between 3 : Mon ami Frederik, Le petit Prince and Mon bel Oranger. The three books who made me cried like no other. Le petit Prince is more philosophic and poetic. But the two others show how life can be difficult and unfair... Frederik died at the end of WWII because of Allied bombing - he was Jew, and he had survived the Nazis. And in Mon bel Oranger, the main character got despaired to death because of the death of the only person who had shown some interest in him. Le Petit Prince... is to never forget we're only human.

4. What does a perfect life look like for you?
The life you would like to have lived the day you're dying.

5. What was your favorite cartoon?
On TV or in general? On TV I can't choose, there are too many, even if I have a soft point for Albert le cinquième mousquetaire, Cyrano 2022, Roswell (and Inspecteur Gadget, Tic et Tac ranger du risque, Il était une fois..., Sakura and so on...)

<lj-embed id="35" /></lj-embed><lj-embed id="38" />

And in general... LA PETITE SIRENE (little mermaid) mwhahahahahaha. And Asterix movies *3* <lj-embed id="40" />

Nous avons les moyens de vous faire parler...

PMS are hell.
Yesterday my belly decided to go on strike and hurt so much I had to take a pill - last time it happened, I wasn't even in highschool. And today, I feel so tired... Pfff. I know I shouldn't complain >>
But fortunately, it has been raining the last two days, so it's not hot and heavy anymore. And I got a kebab at noon :)

I've been to the Japan Expo last week-end. I've survived THE fight.
I went to Kero's with Cuppy friday evening. It was good to see her after all this time, as it was to be at her house, with her parents again. Kuk arrived after us, and it was also great to see him. I think I mainly go to the Japan for them because our little group is made of win.
This year Kero has cosplayed as a student in her school uniform and Cuppy as the Cheshire cat. Kuk avoided being transformed into a girl, and I ended up with a yukata. So in the end I didn't wear the lulzy hat of mine.

We didn't take the RER. I've already tasted unscheduled strike with the SNCF, and even if it gave you great memories of fun, it's also very frustrating not to have your train and to travel in an very very overcrowded wagon (or study in it, it's the same). But fortunately the reason we slept at Kero's is to get a car to drive to the Japan. And unfortunately, this year we decided to park the car, and to be late.
So 30 min to enter this # of expensive carpark, and 30 min at last of labyrinth which could totally tame the ones in Disneyland to enter the place.

And then... It was soooo hot and soooo crowdy and sooo... why everyone is standing at the goodies stands where said goodies are more expensive than on the web? Good question.
But anyway it was fun. Cuppy had her little succes with her disguise, I got the fanzine I was stalking, Kuk bought some food, and Kero was despaired after meeting a man in the same uniform as her. Sexy ~~

Oh and she saw Mr Poulpe and I don't know who from Nolive TV (absolutely not geek ^^) so...

And we met funky people, here are some pictures (but no Hetalia ;_;)

We staid on the Sunday as well, sleeping, hanging out in the town and watching films as Tango and Cash XD. Or Kuzco in French Canadian (it was pretty ok!)
It was a lovely week-end, and I hope to get to see Kero more often ^^

I have to come back to Paris next saturday since Camiche is returning from her colony (Isa, I'm sorry I didn't answer to your mail, I didn't check my gmail account in time. Sorry). I'm not motivated at all, and I don't know how I put those damn subway tickets.
There's a high possibility I'm going to a Calogero concert next november in Amiens. With Mutti, she's a real fan and she... invited herself to my flat so we can go and watch the singer. Not that it disturbed me, some Calo's songs are great, even if it's not one of my favourite artist (but parents are paying so...).
Ben is currently having an overdoseof NCIS. Only one season left yeaaaaah.

One of my aunt is ill. We don't know what she has, but I hope it's not too bad... Just... not bad. We'll get mor results next week.
Our word. Your move (Federation is evil èé)

I'm finally on holidays!
I went to Luxemburg this noon to have a little chat and snack with Antje and Christelle - tried the bio restaurant, expensive but good. I don't know if it's where my uncle works or not >>. Then I discussed with my boss about my work, what was good or wrong. I'm serious, calm, organised and dedicated... but I don't communicate enough. Which I totally agree with, cause I really don't like making conversation.
When I came back I went to my grandma's to welcome my little cousin (which is older than Mutti, I just love those terms XD) and her Italian husband, who I have not seen for at least five years (they live near Nice --'). I talked like about an hour with them before going back to home to phone Florie.

Yesterday, I went to Paris.
Camiche and one of her friends were going to a center near Bordeaux so Mum, Mme S and I brought them to Montparnasse trainstation where the meeting point was. I nearly had a heart attack when there were a huge BOUM near the rail, as if something very very heavy had fallen. No attack, no accident, was just the celebration of someone's retirement. SNCF is a crazy word.
After delivering the package (fuck yeah, I have the bedroom for myself noow *o*), we went to the Grand Palais to visit the exposition 'Une image peut en cacher une autre'. It was interesting; some drawings were totally frustrating since some hidden figures were just details and had no really meaning (as faces in the rock - sometimes you even wonder if there is something to interpret). Otherwise some other were very good, like the Yes/No sculpture.
We ate at the jardin des Tuileries (italian. Again. And again) before going to the Louvre. We didn't last very long. The time to see Mona Lisa and then Le Radeau de la Méduse, to drool in front of La liberté guidant le peuple, and to finally take a look at this fucking Hammurabi code (Maikie 1 - antic class 0)
To rest our feet a little we went at the foire, ate an icecream and walked by the Seine to see Notre Dame. We had the nice surprise to meet a man in brief who apparently didn't get enough love --'.
Unfortunatyely, we didn't have enough time to visit the cathedral, so we got back to Gare de l'Est for returning home.
I'm not really found of Paris - I always feel like a farmer discovering his first town. And with my family, it's worse. Camiche was overexcited in the subway, everybody heard her. Mutti mistaked De Gaulle's statue for Clemenceau's one (how she did I don't know...) and we mused for at last 5 minutes if all the stands on the Champs Elysées were really for July 14th or for something else. Yeah, I feel like a farmer.

And on Tuesday, I went to see Transformers.
Too complicated for me, I'm still trying to understand all the plot holes. Gzzz.

Oh, and I finally have my ticket for the Japan Expo.
I'm going tomorrow to Kero's with Cuppy, and saturday, we'll stalk the whole place.
If you're going and want to find me, I won't be cosplayed (it's not really my kind of thing...), but I'll probably be wearing this wonderful hat with colors of Germany, with an imperial eagle and a Deutschland inscription. I totally love this hat *o*. Oh, and maybe with a badge 'supporting Bristish RC since 1870' (should I also take a French flag?) ^^

I would like to talk more about Solferino, but I don't have the pictures on this computer.
The Neighbourg has problems with his connexion, and I can't connect with my wifi anymore. I'm on the family's computer, a very very slow beast. With IE notherless. Yeaaaah
So little vids for now :)
<lj-embed id="32" />
(Fiaccolata *o*)

<lj-embed id="33" />
(Austrian RC. Beer, beer and beer. Those guys are awesooooome *o*. I've spent sometimes with the Macedonian guy, he was dying with us in the registration tent)

<lj-embed id="34" />
(our big simuation about shelter. I'm the thing with a orange shirt at the very beginning of the video. Didn't recognise myself at first ^^ - BENELUX ERU on work, they are the best)

And damn, it's too hot. I hate summer.

What a fair foot!

OMG My bro is singing On va s'aimer.
My sister is growing up.She's girly. She loves horses. She's always speaking. And she's playing with my make-up this vil traitror
I'M SCARED D:

Today is my last day at the Red Cross... and it's kinda depressing.
I've spent all the morning sending myself the material I'll need for my rapport. And Mr Huvelle isn't here this afternoon to have a discussion about my work. I'll have to return to end my internship properly (yeaaaah). I'm used to it now, he hasn't been in Luxembourg half of the time so... I've no motivation for work. Just want to clean the desk and wait.
I'll miss everybody. I had nice moments. Discussions with Jean Marc are interesting, Gaspard always makes me laugh with his chauvinistic pride (and he is really bad in orthograph XD), I liked working with Antje and the ERU members, and I'll try to see Christelle the time she staid in Thionville.
Oh, and we had a chocolate cake today - Jeanne is also leaving.
But the only big problem I have now is : will the rolls up be delivered on time, or should I start panicking?

Cause I still have Solferino next week!
My god, I'm not even excited about it. I'll probably fully realize how funky the event will be when I'll have to pack tomorrow. I don't know how it will be - this thing is a mess, but an organised mess ;D. 15 hours trip though Germany and Austria, 1 week between people coming from everywhere, work and animations non stop, pasta for every meal since it's in Italy... it has potential.
Only if we get this fucking rolls up on time.
Enough for the next week plans.
Last Sunday was the schoolfest. It was nice as always, even if the Neigbourgh wasn't there to cook the sausages :(
I didn't participated to the walk, with is kinda sad - I love walking those 15 km. I had to stay at one of the stand where the walkers can take a snak. It was in the forest, calm... but I couldn't walk :(
And mosquitos were everywhere. I've still the result of the encounter on my legs èé

Yesterday was the last episode of the show 'Un village français'.
I liked the approach: even if the realisation is too rigid (but it could have been worse, I didn't have the impression the actors were coming from the XVIIIe century), t it's far better than the last shows I've seen which take place during the Occupation. There are a lot of people I don't know which side they belong, if they'll end up choising one. The RG man'll be a collabo (too much ambition and love of order to be keep his soul), the postwoman a resistant (she will act, she will do something). Maybe the policeman too : he's already reluctant to obey and is in love with a jew. But for the others, too much possibilities. I just foresee a drama with the teacher. You don't create an intelligent, sensitive and good looking German soldier and make him help the cute but afraid teacher for nothing (makes me think of the one in Le silence de la mer in fact)

Oh! And the bac has begun! Héhéhé... poor little children stressing for nothing!
One of subject in philo was really interesting : L'objectivité de l'Histoire suppose-t-elle l'impartialité de l'historien?
I've mused about it, and I would say being totally impartial is impossible. Even if you try your best, there's always a moment a little opinion appears in the text; we're human after all. But historians has to do there best to let their personnal belief in the closet, and say only the facts. And if they have theories about things, they have to use all the sources (proofs dammit!) they can use to justify what it.
However, if impartial historians are absolutely needed, it's not a sufficient condition to make History fully objective

And concerning the elections in Iran... I just wish their hopes won't be vain.
<lj-embed id="31" />
( I totally recommand you this movie. You can lagh at a scene, and cry at the other. And dammit, French accent is wonderful *3*)

Well... I should work now >> and track the roll ups :(

Bonne fête Mamaaaaaaaaaaan

Have voted.
Considering the results, it didn't make a difference, but I don't regret my choice ^^. Mutti's one was funky (thanks to her, we bursted in laugher cause we discovered Francis Lalanne was a candidate in the South West). I should precise my parents tend to hide the electoral programms, so I managed to get them only this afternoon. Anyway, half of the list ended directly in the carbage, some programs had only a few points I agreed with... so my decision was easily made.
And dear snowcrash, we had the Esperanto list! Hahaha, I'm sure I squeed to much in the vote place XD
But I like voting. Each time, I'm grinning like a madwoman. I know there's nothing to get happy about, but... I like it!

Soo...
I've finally passed my last exam on Saturday morning. Wasn't stressed at all, just apathic.
We had 2 subjects : Impact of WWI on French civil society and the one I selected : Experience of the fight during Modern times.
I don't know if it went well : I wrote the four hours, I had a problematic, my hand hurted as hell at the end... and I'm sure I failled. So, the usual scheme, I'll see when I get the note.
But it was nice to see Florie again!

On the afternoon, I watched a part of the D Day commemorations (until Canada's anthem in fact). It reminds me on my wonderful journey in Normandy, when I visited the memorial, and Colleville, Omaha...I would like to come back, there are so much things I couldn't see.
And it was kinda strange to think we technically were in the US after entering the cimetery! Pffouu.. But to be honnest, I was a little uneasy while visting it... Everything is so big, symbolic, made to show respect and admiration. I was more touched by the German cimetery we visited afterwards - maybe because as it had to be simple and humble, it really had an intimate atmosphere.

Then I went into town.
I got my Muse tickets, here is the baby:

I tried to get a look at the BD expo organised in Amiens (On a marché sur la Bulle)... but it wasn't free, so I just got the possibility to drool at the official poster - I need to get one. I'm on Angoulême mode, it's bad-bad-bad. If my love for the event is awaken (and I'm deeply in love with it, and has a special place in my heart), I gonna end up at the festival next year >> .
Besides there were an expo about Seuls and Marzi and I missed them... It's not fair :( Marzi is a nice comic, really refreshing, about a young girl living during Communist Poland (even if she doesn't know what communist means). And Seuls... well, how can I explain how much I'm into the story? *big big sigh*

(next place will be my bedroom èé)

And this afternoon, I went to see Terminator 4. Hahaha, it was ok. Nothing new under the sun, but I spent a nice moment.
And to conclude the speech, some photos of the dogs of my life :

(Buzz and Gizmo - Buzz never looks at the camera --'')

Gizmo (he looks a little like a musketeer)

Buzz (no, he's not high, he's always like that - he doesn't care about you)

Oh, and I'll go on holidays the last two weeks of July... in Alsace *3*

Prussian soldiers devouted themselves, body and goods, to their prince.

Trufax :)

I'm tired, I shouldn't have watched Obama's interview last night (the first one given to a French media)
It was ok I guess... but a little frustrating in the end: I was happy the journalist finally got her interview, since she had chased him during all the electoral campaign for only... three words, but I didn't expect her to ask the usual-and-totally-stupid-but-it's-because-we're-French-so-it's-serous-business questions : does Obama speak French? Does he love France? But why?
XD
XD
XD
Obama said 'bonjour', it was more than enough for me; I would have prefered a talk about the D Day.

Speaking about the D Day, I'll have my exam next saturday.
I've opened my notes, and I chose to pass 'Warfare at Modern Times'. Sure the teacher is stricter, but I've less to learn and it's more interesting than 'Ending of wars' (maybe the part about the femmes tondues...). Far more interesting : a class who enables you to drool at a painting of Prussian army or the Invicible Armada during 2 hours has to be awesome!
But I don't waaaant to it. I have to go back to Amiens just for that.

But there are some good news :
- I'm going to Paris on the 1st of July. My sister has to go to the capital, so Mutti and I will take the occasion to spend the day at the Louvre. And the cherry on the cake : the museum is free for me, nothing to pay youhou! And I'll finally see the Hammurabi code - I missed it last year when I went with George.
- I'll go to the JE on Saturday the 4th. Yes, the day Clamp will be there, it'll be madness, I know... but the place is always crowded, so a little less or a little more, it won't be very important.
-MUSE IS BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK
1/11. Galaxie. Amnéville. Resistance Tour. United State of Eurasia. I'll be there .
Fuck yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
*fangirlise à mort*

Oh, and a little test....
<table cellspacing="0" the last show have seen about the Resistance was boriiiing, and not realist at all.
